FICTIONAL MAPPING EXAMPLE

Excel column: Customer no.
Field in the app: Customer reference
Example: 0018
Expected format: text, to preserve the leading zeros
If the cell is empty: set the row aside and have the customer checked
Check after import: find 0018, linked to Atelier Lune

Excel column: Order date
Field in the app: Date of order
Example: 08/09/2026, meaning 8 September 2026
Expected format: the importer's format, to confirm before the trial
If the date is ambiguous: ask for confirmation before converting it
Check after import: verify the displayed day, month and year
